Responsibilities

We are seeking a Full Stack .NET Software Developer/Architect to join the Equities Trading Middle Office Technology team. This role partners globally with the Middle Office, Equities Trading and Risk Management teams based in US, Europe and Asia. In this position, you will play a critical role in developing and optimizing systems that support our equity trading middle office and risk management platforms. You’ll work on complex, high-impact projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment alongside talented professionals who are leaders in their field.

The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

·       Develop and maintain high-quality applications using .NET and WPF technologies.

·       Design, implement, and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between systems.

·       Manage backend processes using SQL Server, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.

·       Handle concurrent processes and multithreading programming for high-performance applications.

·       Work with IBM MQ for messaging and integration between systems.

·       Develop responsive frontends using frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.

·       Implement DevOps practices using tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins to support CI/CD workflows.

·       Promote best practices and drive user adoption by engaging and training users; update training materials, help documents and tips-and-tricks communications as needed.

·       Implement data quality controls to support reporting and analysis. 

·       Work with the vendors and development teams using agile methods and tools. Manage application upgrades, testing and support of the Trade Processing System used by the Middle Office users.

·       Conduct detailed diagnosis of operational problems and work with local, external, and global teams to resolve issues in a timely manner. 

·       Document business processes and procedures.  

The role is eligible an annual discretionary bonus and includes a competitive benefits package including 401(k) plan with company match, Medical/Dental/Vision, and other benefits for fertility, wellness, student loans and commuters.  Base salary range does not include bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience.

Profile required

Basic Qualifications:

·       7+ years of full-stack development experience

·       Demonstrated track record of designing, developing and providing user support for high performance .NET WPF, REST API, SQL Server applications.

·       Proven ability in concurrent multithreading programming.

·       Proficiency with frontend frameworks and DevOps practices.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to liaise with people at all levels, both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

·       Proven ability to manage projects, priorities and deadlines.

·       Demonstrated track record of providing responsive support in a fast-paced environment.

·       Experience in Data quality and reporting using best practices and tools.

·       Demonstrated track record of working with global teams.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Experience with equities trading platforms or middle-office systems.

·       Knowledge of Python and PowerShell scripting.

·       Familiarity with Control-M scheduling systems.

·       Experience in Agile methodology using JIRA.

·       Experience with FIX protocol programming.
