Functional & Technical Trading Support Engineer – M/F/D
Responsibilities
As our Warsaw office continues to grow, we’re expanding our IT Front Office Support team.
Join our Fixed Income and Currencies (FIC) division as a Functional & Technical Trading Support Engineer, working on Front Office pre-trade & post-trade applications. You will collaborate with an international team (based in France, Great-Britain, HK, Japan, and the United-States) to support high-performance software that is essential for traders, salespeople, and financial professionals around the world.
Your future scope of responsibility will cover:
- Providing daily support to local and global business users (Traders and Sales teams).
- Managing incidents, service requests, monitoring and deployment.
- Booking deals and ensuring smooth trade execution.
- Delivering training sessions on new features to end users.
- Maintaining and sharing knowledge bases and best practices with other regions.
- Efficiently communicating with users during production incidents.
- Following up with post-incident reviews and action plans.
- Collaborating closely with international support teams to ensure seamless service.
- Promoting and encouraging good production practices.
- Coordinating with deployment teams to roll out new application versions, including performing sanity checks after release.
Profile required
You will be best suited for this role if:
- You have at least 3 years in a Support Front Office within a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, and you are motivated by delivering excellent service and keen on continuing to learn.
- You have a solid understanding of financial products and global markets activities.
- You are comfortable investigating issues in logs and performing root cause analysis.
- You have solid practical experience with Windows Server (log analysis, issue investigation), relational databases (Oracle / SQL Server), and Job scheduler (Autosys/Airflow). Knowledge on ElasticSearch/Kibana is a plus.
- You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially when managing incidents and user expectations under pressure.
- You are fluent in English (French is a plus).
- You are willing to work in shifts and open to occasional on-duty weekend work.
