Our Fund Financing Solutions team delivers bespoke financing solutions to a broad range of clients including private equity funds, private credit funds, hedge funds, pension funds, insurance companies and asset managers. Working alongside professionals from Structuring, Global Markets, Risk and Investment Banking, you will gain hands-on experience across the full transaction lifecycle—from origination and portfolio analysis through to execution, pricing and ongoing monitoring.
What You'll Do
As a Trainee, you will be an integral member of the team, supporting live transactions and helping to deliver sophisticated financing solutions for institutional clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Analysing investment portfolios and financing structures across a range of asset classes.
- Supporting the pricing, structuring and execution of fund financing transactions.
- Building and maintaining financial models to assess transaction economics and risk-return profiles.
- Conducting portfolio analytics, stress testing and scenario analysis.
- Analysing market trends, funding conditions and investment strategies.
- Assisting in the preparation of transaction approval materials and credit applications.
- Working closely with teams across Structuring, Sales & Trading, Risk, Legal and Operations.
- Supporting business development initiatives through market research and client presentation preparation.
- Helping develop analytical tools and reporting capabilities to enhance portfolio monitoring and decision-making.
Profile required
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for intellectually curious and highly analytical candidates who are excited by financial markets and complex transactions.
You may be a strong fit if you have:
- A degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or another quantitative discipline.
- Strong academic credentials and demonstrated analytical ability.
- Advanced Excel skills and an interest in financial modelling.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- A genuine interest in capital markets, institutional investing and financing solutions.
Relevant Experience
We are especially interested in candidates who have completed internships, placements or significant academic projects in:

- Structuring
- Derivatives Pricing & Valuation

- Securities Financing or Prime Brokerage

Experience gained within either buy-side or sell-side institutions will be highly regarded.
Technical Skills We Value
- Financial modelling and valuation.

- Bloomberg or other market data platforms.
- Programming skills such as Python, VBA or SQL (advantageous).
- Ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights effectively.
