FX Option Trader
Responsibilities
Day to day responsibilities include but not limited to:
• FX options market making to a wide range of Corporate and Institutional customers.
• Must be able to quote and risk manage a product range that includes: vanilla, first generation exotics, volswaps and var swaps, and FVAs.
• Work closely with a global sales force to enhance customer relationships. Close communication with the customer franchise is imperative.
• Ensure proper execution of procedures, monitors outcomes and demonstrates support for the Companies strategic goals through flexibility and the appropriate flow of information up and down the chain of authority

Within Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking, the Global Markets Division brings together the Research, Investment and Risk Management Solutions, Execution and Clearing, Prime Services, Equities, Fixed Income, Futures and Currencies & Commodities structuring capabilities with the objective of providing investors with one integrated multi-asset market solutions team. The business uses an advisory and innovation mindset, focused on client needs, with a global leader in financial markets engineering. Global Markets is a leading player in derivatives, with unrivaled over the counter and listed derivatives expertise, as well as cross-asset and economic research. Our prime services' offering is a unique combination of execution, clearing, custody and financing services.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
COMPETENCIES
Required:
• Strong pricing knowledge and risk management of fx options
• Must demonstrate both honesty and integrity at all times
• Regulatory understanding and transparency
• Ability to build constructive relationships with all parties (teammates, peers, support functions, clients).
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Required:
• Vanilla and Exotic FX Options pricing and risk management
• Mastering of IT systems, tools, and operational chain
• Advanced MS Excel & PowerPoint skills
PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE
Required:
• Experience working with both vanilla and exotic fx option products
• 7+ years of work experience in this field
EDUCATION
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (finance, economics, etc.)

COMPENSATION:
Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and includes a competitive benefits package including 401(k) plan with company match, medical/dental/vision, and other benefits for fertility, wellness, student loans and commuters.
