Responsibilities

We are seeking a high-potential Analyst to join the office of the Head of Global Banking and Advisory (GLBA) APAC. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious early-career professional to gain direct exposure to senior management, business strategy, and decision-making across one of the region's leading banking platforms.

Working closely with the Head of GLBA APAC, the successful candidate will help drive strategic initiatives, support business planning, develop executive-level presentations, and transform complex data into actionable insights. This role is ideal for candidates with prior experience in leading consulting firms who are looking to broaden their exposure within investment banking and corporate finance.

  • Support the Head of GLBA APAC in articulating and executing business strategy across the region
  • Develop executive-quality PowerPoint presentations for management committees, business reviews, client discussions, and strategic initiatives
  • Build and maintain financial, commercial, and workforce-related models and projections using Excel
  • Analyze large and complex datasets, identify trends, and translate findings into concise management insights and recommendations
  • Prepare business performance dashboards, market intelligence reports, and strategic analyses
  • Coordinate and track key regional initiatives, ensuring timely execution and follow-up
  • Draft briefing materials, talking points, and reports for senior leadership engagements
  • Partner closely with business heads, finance, strategy, HR, and other stakeholders across APAC
  • Act as a trusted support to the Head of GLBA APAC, helping prioritize strategic topics and manage business deliverables

Profile required

  • Graduate with degree in Finance, Economics, STEM, or related fields
  • Prior experience in a leading management consulting firm is preferred
  • Experience in strategic analysis, business planning, performance management, or corporate strategy is desirable
  • Exposure to financial services, investment banking, or corporate banking is a plus
  • Exceptional PowerPoint presentation-building skills with strong attention to detail and executive-level communication standards
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, forecasting, scenario analysis, and data manipulation
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to synthesize large volumes of information into clear recommendations
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal presence and confidence working directly with senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated maturity, resilience, and sound judgment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English is mandatory
  • Experience: 0-2 years (internships welcome; banking experience not essential)
