Graduate Analyst – ECM, Societe Generale Securities India (Mumbai)

As part of a growing business, the role involves working closely with senior bankers and regional teams on transaction-related work, client materials, market analysis and strategic projects. The role will initially offer strong exposure to Equity Capital Markets, while also providing the opportunity to support broader investment banking activities as local capabilities continue to expand.

Primary Responsibilities:
•    Support client analysis, presentation materials and execution workstreams across investment banking activities, with an initial focus on Equity Capital Markets
•    Conduct company, industry and market research, as well as financial analysis to support client discussions and business development
•    Work with India and regional teams on strategic projects, live opportunities and franchise-building initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
•    MBA/PGDBM/Master’s in Finance/Economics or related fields from Tier 1 Institute.
•    Candidate with 0-2 years’ experience in investment banking, capital markets will be favourably considered 
•    Strong analytical and communication skills, with an interest in capital markets and advisory work
•    Intellectual curiosity, attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning
•    A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, evolving environment
