About the team:

The Human Resources department is responsible for:

·       Developing Global Banking and Investment Solutions attractiveness as a responsible employer notably in terms of career opportunities, people development, compensation, diversity and working environment.

·       Addressing the larger challenges of Global Banking and Investment Solutions notably in terms of managerial culture, performance management and people engagement.

·       Supporting Global Banking and Investment Solutions strategy and transformation by accompanying the teams and working on their employability.

Summary of Key Purposes of the Role:

The HR PMO is responsible for assisting in the definition and maintenance of the standards of project management and process within the HR department;

 

Responsibilities:

 

·       Lead several projects simultaneously across the Human Resources department of various sizes and complexity.

·       Analyse existing Human Resources processes, identify gaps and lead resolution projects.

·       Supporting on strategic lead projects such as M&A activities.

·       Delivery of projects, either directly or via the extended Human Resources team including the identification and coordination of key stakeholders, workstreams and contributors to the project.

·       Manage all project aspects including planning and analysis, budget, scope, schedule, risk and resource management.

  • Working closely with the project sponsors, develop, maintain and monitor detailed project plans and associated communication documents; revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements, using appropriate tools and methods.
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project, and project deliverables, in line with the project plan.

·       Measure, monitor and report on project/transition activities, milestones, dependencies, status, KPIs, and issues/risks.

  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations.
  • Independently gather, develop, interpret data; making recommendations as appropriate actions for the project sponsors.

·       Facilitate the monitoring and reporting of projects on the UK HUMN Project Portfolio, to the UK HUMN Executive committee and key stakeholders.

·       Act as a reference point for managers and teams on the best use of project management disciplines and approaches, PMO queries and information.

·       Engage with clients to anticipate needs and development requirements for upcoming projects.

·       Develop and grow relationships vital to the success of the project(s) including UK HUMN team, local PM teams, Global Project counterparts.

Profile required

PROFILE REQUIRED

·       Proven PMO/Project Analyst experience including understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management.

·       Experience of working in an HR department desirable.

·       Understanding of process mapping or business analysis principles is advantageous.

·       Understanding of project delivery and acceptance processes within a fast-paced business environment.

·       Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment.

·       Reacts to project scope change promptly and efficiently.

·       Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.

·       Ability to bring project to successful completion through sensitivity.

·       Strong relationship building, interpersonal and communication skills

·       Detailed experience of Microsoft and Project applications.

·       Report to and demonstrate diplomacy when working with key stakeholders

·       Diligent with attention to detail

·       Ability to cope under pressure

·       Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating.
