HR Services Officer
Responsibilities
Support SG and SCB HR in coordinating HR operational activities to enhance employee experience and operational excellence with proper operational control, as well as compliance with policies and regulation.
This will include:
Administrative Support
- Work closely with HR counterparts and act as a bridge between SG and SCB
- Policy administration with strong coordination between policy owners and HRBPs
- Responsible for updating, management and communication of any policy updates to HR counterparts & employees
- Provide admirative support on SOP and process management with HRSSC
- Timely follow-up on invoicing & vendor management
C&B Support
- Provide C&B support on Annual Compensation Review, Job Matching/Benchmark Exercise and other ad hoc C&B topics
Reporting & Analytics Support
- Provide reporting & analytics support to define and deliver KPI and dashboards in conjunction with HRSSC
- Coordinate with HR Analytics on any specific reporting needs from the Lines of Business/function, support HR presentations for Regional HRBPs or Heads of Business/Function if needed Ensure exhaustiveness and homogeneity of data produced
HR Projects
- Coordinate in transversal projects e.g. HR system (HR Cruise) enhancements, UAT
- Review of contracts and standard letters for the region
Talent Acquisition
- Perform job analysis and guide the hiring managers on drafting a job specification
- Define the appropriate sourcing strategy, priority on direct sourcing and the cost-efficient channels
- Application Tracking System (ATS) data management for weekly management reporting
- Manage the selection & interview processes (perform direct sourcing, screening, collect feedback from interviewers, conduct HR interview and provide feedback) and ensure the regulatory screening is performed where applicable
- Prepare competitive package proposals, manage candidate’s expectations
- Optimize candidate experience, improve employer branding and publicity, promote digitalization
- Advise the hiring managers on recruitment best practices, policies and procedures
- Work with the preferred vendors, monitor their behavior and enforce the SG policy as needed
- Administrate the pre-onboarding process
- Ensuring adherence to regulatory controls/standards by completing the mandatory trainings
- Provide market intelligence to the HR community and senior management
- Maintain a high level of risk awareness and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to talent acquisition
- Partner efficiently with the extended recruitment team offshore (based in India)
- Participate in transversal or other ad hoc projects
It is a complex matrix working environment that requires the incumbent to be highly matured to work professionally with both functional and geographical teams in the region and in the Head Office.
Profile required
- Must have relevant experience in Talent Acquisition and HR Operations
- Ability to think outside the box, good problem-solving skills and strong sense of ethics with a focus on operational control
- Strong sense of confidentiality, maturity in handling highly sensitive information and highly attentive to details
- Self-motivated, process oriented and reliable, ability to prioritize and work independently and work as a team
- Experience in project management and reporting analytics
- Client-focused, strong interpersonal skills, effective communication skills at advisory level
- Oracle Taleo Application Tracking System and Microsoft Office i.e. Excel pivot table, VBA & Macro efficiency are essential
- Proficiency in English language skills

Department Description
Societe Generale (SG) HR Team will provide HR services to our JV with Bernstein (SCB) based on a Service Level Agreement between the two entities. The HR Services Officer, as a part of the HR Services Team within ASIA HR team in Societe Generale, will provide value adding support to the JV. You will act as a bridge between SG and SCB whilst mitigating risks, contributing to great employee experience and engagement and achieving people strategies for the client group(s) and the region.
You will work in close partnership with the HR Business Partners of the JV, primarily in Hong Kong, in delivering professional and tactical HR services for the client group(s), and also in cooperation with various HR Specialist teams and Country HR counterparts to deliver a coordinated and focused “One HR” service.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with the regional HR team of SCB and SG, HR Shared Service Centre (HRSSC), HR Information System team and external service providers.
