Responsibilities

Department Description:

MARK/BTO/BMO teams plays a key role in developing the Global Markets (MARK) business while mitigating operational risk.

A global team and a key partner for MARK business lines and activities to enable MARK to do what it does best – serve the needs of its clients in a secured way.
 
Combining process and business expertise, quality of execution, technology advisory, innovative solutions and operational risk prevention, MARK/BMO is a trusted advisor helping to ensure the highest service levels to clients.
 
MARK/BMO plays a pivotal role in collaborating with Support and Control functions in Finance, IT, Operations, Risks, Compliance and Legal.
 
Run day-to-day operations while also delivering on business-critical key projects, such as new business, regulations, or transformation.

The Sales, coverage and Research Business Management Office focuses on building, managing & optimizing all processes from pre-trade and post-trade. It ensures the best service is offered to MARK clients by monitoring, reviewing, and transforming existing processes. It also provides the management with relevant tools and indicators to ensure the efficiency of the commercial set-up.  The FIC BMO role is also to make sure the activity operates within the regulatory framework and at the same time the risk is mitigated.

The role will be primarily focus on the below themes:

Summary of responsibilities

  • Conduct ad-hoc requests, analysis, and studies to help support the business.
  • Prepare Dashboards for monitoring of relevant KPI
  • Prepare and update presentations for Management

Profile required

  • Flexibility, pro-activity, curiosity and capable to multi-task

  • Positive, can do attitude
  • Capable to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
  • Intermediate level in Excel & Power Point and Python
  • English language skills are essential

This is a 1-3 month full-time internship with Société Générale in Hong Kong whereby you will work within one business line / support function for the period. In order to apply for an internship opportunity with us, please ensure you are currently studying towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and that you are available for the 1-3 month period on a full-time basis.
