INTERN: Legal
Responsibilities
- Assist the Lawyers in the Legal team in respect of over–the–counter (“OTC”) derivative, prime brokerage and cash transactions (including transactions in respect of equity, rates, foreign exchange and credit)
- Review and draft documentation (both for derivative/prime brokerage/cash transactions and ancillary documents), and arranging execution of the above transactions and matters
- Assist with related processes and reporting
Profile required
- Currently studying towards a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law related subjects (Hong Kong, Commonwealth qualification or USA)
- Good communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Fluent in (i) spoken and written English and (ii) written Traditional Chinese
This is a 1 month full-time internship with Societe Generale in Hong Kong whereby you will work within one business line / support function for the period.
