Responsibilities

  • AI Model Input and Management: 
    o Accurately gathering and formatting product details to ensure they meet the model's input requirements.
    o Collaborating with team members to understand the nuances of the product information needed for effective AI analysis.
  • AI Result Comparison: 
    o Analyzing AI-generated results and identifying discrepancies with human assessments.
    o Documenting findings and providing feedback to the team on the performance of the AI model.
    o Participating in discussions to refine the model based on comparative analysis.
  • Data Analysis for Regulatory Reporting: 
    o Preparing reports and visualizations that summarize AI findings and their implications for regulatory compliance.
    o Ensuring that data-driven insights are effectively communicated to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Documentation: 
    o Maintaining clear and organized documentation of input processes, AI outputs, and comparative analyses.
  • Support Manager and Administrative Tasks:
    o Support the manager in managing incoming requests and tasks, prioritizing and allocating work based on deadlines.
    o Organize and maintain a structured file system to enhance data management and accessibility.
    o Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with best practices and company policies.

Profile required

  • Currently studying towards a Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant degree program such as Data Science, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and tools is a plus.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established guidelines and procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving aptitude.
  • A collaborative team player who works for the collective good.
  • Flexible and proactive in adapting to a changing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.

This is a 1-3 month full-time internship with Société Générale in Hong Kong whereby you will work within one business line / support function for the period. In order to apply for an internship opportunity with us, please ensure you are currently studying towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and that you are available for the 1-3 month period on a full-time basis.

Department Description:

The Operations Regulatory Reporting Production Team in SG Hong Kong is responsible for the production, oversight, investigation, and remediation of regulatory reports. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual for a Summer Internship that will provide hands-on experience in AI model utilization, regulatory report production, and administrative support. This internship offers a unique opportunity to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while working in a dynamic environment.
