Internship Accounting & Finance

The Milan Branch of Société Générale is looking for an intern to join its Accounting & Finance team for a renewable period of 6 months, starting on June 1, 2026.

The candidate will work in a dynamic and demanding environment within the Accounting & Finance team, consisting of 6 people, and will interface with other divisions of the Branch.

Tasks and responsibilities:

In particular, the candidate will support the team in managing the following tasks:

• Accounts Payable of the Branch: point of contact for colleagues based in Bangalore; control activities and accounting reconciliations; management of any urgent manual payments; communication of initial entries to be recorded in accounting

• Accounts Receivable of the Branch: management of the issuance of active invoices, both domestic and foreign; verification of their correct accounting

• Accounting management of Special Purpose Vehicles: invoice payments, withholding tax payments via F24 forms, reconciliation of current accounts; tax and accounting archives

Studies & experience:

• Graduate student in Economics

• Excellent accounting knowledge

Language skills:

• Italian: C2

• English: C1

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

• Ability to work in a team, being capable of carrying out assigned tasks independently under the supervision of a tutor

• Excellent organizational skills are required to strictly meet deadlines, along with a strong ability to concentrate and precision

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
