Internship Data Quality Analyst – M/W
Responsibilities
We are looking for a motivated Trainee to join our Data Quality team. This role is ideal for a candidate eager to develop expertise in data governance and quality within a leading global financial institution. You will support the identification, analysis, and remediation of data quality issues, contributing to the bank’s operational resilience and regulatory compliance.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Assist in identifying data quality issues through data profiling and analysis, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Support investigations to determine root causes of data discrepancies and errors
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business units and IT to define and implement remediation actions
Monitor remediation progress and validate data corrections to ensure sustained data quality improvements
Document remediation plans, findings, and outcomes in accordance with Société Générale’s standards and regulatory requirements
Contribute to the enhancement of data quality controls, policies, and governance frameworks
Participate actively in training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Support regular reporting to management on data quality status and remediation activities
Profile required
Operational & behavioral skills
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Computer Science, Information Management, or related discipline.
Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
Basic knowledge of data management principles and data quality concepts
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data analysis or visualization tools is a plus
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Demonstrated eagerness to learn and adapt within a dynamic environment
Proactive, solution-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement
Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team
Interest in financial services, regulatory frameworks, and data governance
Strong ethical standards and commitment to data integrity
Languages:
Advanced English and French
