Responsibilities

Societe Generale Global Transaction Banking (GTB) includes payment and cash management, cash clearing services, trade services, factoring and foreign exchange services associated to these activities.

GTB integrates all the expertise and services required to facilitate the daily transactional activities of major economic and financial actors both in a domestic and international scope.

With over 6,000 specialists in over 50 countries, Payments and Cash Management (PCM) is a strategic activity for Societe Generale. We can offer the expertise of a large international banking group and experience spanning over twenty years. As a real local Bank in all the countries where we operate, our global system ensures optimal coordination. We can intervene in cash management in Europe, Africa, Asia, Americas, Overseas, and in the Middle East

The responsiveness and dynamism of our teams, their accurate knowledge of market trends and regulations, the strength of our networks and our diverse range of products allow us to optimize the daily management of the cash flow, the commercial and financial transactions for our corporate clients.

Day to day responsibilities include but not limited to: 

·        Review and keep up to date client folder

·        Review and complete IC data base. Input client contacts in IC as instructed by Sales Managers

·        Keep PCM Templates updated: pricing, internal presentation, external pitch

·        Work with PCM Sales on client proposals including Treasury solutions, cost/benefit analysis, pricing, and profitability models, etc

·        Keep log and follow up on credit renewal together with the  Sales Team

·        Time management, organizational and planning skills with proven ability to multitask

·        Keep updated client complain and incident folder

·        Assist with controls process

The candidate will learn about Corporate banking and Cash Management, liquidity, pricing set up, connectivity and credit risk.

  • The candidate must be open minded, think out of the box and proactive.
  • The candidate must be mindful of the legal and the compliance local constraints.

Profile required

COMPETENCIES

Required:

·        Pro-active team player

·        Highly proficient with Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and superior analytical and quantitative skills

·        Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills for pitching (English as first language), other languages could be useful for this position

·        Strong analytical and organizational skills

·        Ability to manage change, innovation and multitask requirements

·        Ability to work with multiple stakeholders

·        Good cooperation with GTB NY staff included the middle office and operations

EDUCATION 

Required:

·        Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent.

Speaking French and /or Spanish is a plus but not a requirement

COMPENSATION & SALARY RANGE:

Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience.
