Responsibilities

The Financing and Transaction Banking division (GBSU/FTB) is a global organization covering the management of structured finance transactions. Within FTB, the Structured Finance Middle Office team (SMO) manages transactions/portfolios pre to post-closing for Project Finance, Leveraged Finance, Media & Telecom Finance, Commercial Real Estate, Metals & Mining Finance, Aircraft Finance and Export Finance. The group supports the business lines in all aspects of portfolio and transaction management, including operational responsibilities, agency management, credit risk monitoring and client relationship support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Assist the team responsible for Portfolio Management functions supporting the Project Finance Business Lines (Energy, Infrastructure, Metals & Mining).
•  Assist in preparation of annual credit reviews (including financial analysis and rating proposal).
•  Process technical consents for transactions, including obtaining all required internal credit approvals.
•  Handle various aspects of credit monitoring and reporting
• Assist in preparing  quarterly watch-list and provision reviews and presenting the same in local and global meetings
•  Record covenants in the internal tracking system and resolve past dues
•  Work in close collaboration with other internal departments such as the Front Office, Back Office and Risk teams.
•  Assist in internal and external audits and regulatory examinations
•  Assist in preparation of  monthly and quarterly reports (data quality and credit monitoring), as well as respond  to global management inquiries on the portfolio

Profile required

Global Business Service Unit (GBSU) US delivers day-to-day services to Global Banking & Investor Solutions (GBIS) and its clients. GBSU consists of entities composed of IT & non-IT teams working side-by-side under the same leadership. GBSU supports the goal of rolling out a services platform model, spreading the technology and data culture, shortening decision-making processes, and adopting an industrial approach to ensure secure, stable, and compliant operations, as well as continuously improving front to back processing environments. GBSU maintains production services for applications, systems, and infrastructure, facilitates entry into new markets, ensures compliance with regulatory needs, as well as business growth & development.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Must Have:

1.  Graduate with a Bachelors degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance

2.  GPA greater than 3.65 preferred

3.  Good communication and presentation skills

4.  Proficient/Good command of MS Office

5.  Fluent in English

6.  Ability to work in a dynamic, deadline-focused environment

7.  Team player

Nice to Have:

1.  A previous experience in Structured Finance or Banking would be appreciated

2.  Some exposure to credit agreements would be useful

COMPENSATION & SALARY RANGE:

Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience.
