Responsibilities

The primary role of the Investor Access Analyst/ Associate will be to coordinate and execute events for Bernstein’s clients. The individual will work as part of our team across Asia, and in collaboration with team members in Europe and North America, as relevant. Events will vary in complexity and size, and they will include both virtual and in-person formats, including meetings with high-level corporate managers, small group investor tours, one-on-one meetings, thematic symposiums and large-scale conferences. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, organising virtual events, arranging logistics associated with tours and events, negotiating with vendors, expense reporting and budgeting, calendaring/scheduling for our events, managing and distributing weekly recurring calendar updates to internal and external stakeholders and other ad-hoc projects.

This job requires flexible and occasionally long working hours when preparing for an event, as well as business travel as appropriate.

Profile required

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field and 5 years of professional experience, preferably in the financial services industry in a corporate access or event/marketing role. Additionally, the candidate should possess:

  • Exceptional organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task with a track record in providing seamless logistics and team support with strong co-ordination skills
  • Highest level of attention to detail
  • Strong client service and interpersonal skills to develop relationships both inside and outside of the organization
  • Strong communication skills to interact comfortably with stakeholders at all levels of seniority
  • A positive and can-do attitude
  • Willingness to learn and grow
  • Strong commercial awareness to drive quality, efficiency and cost savings
  • Strong computer application background in Excel and PowerPoint
  • English and Mandarin fluency

The Bernstein Investor Access department strives to create and execute timely, specialized events that build upon the firm’s public equity research, widely considered among the best in the industry. The audience for our events is investment professionals from large investing institutions such as mutual funds, hedge funds, pension funds, etc. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who will excel in a challenging and fast-paced atmosphere as part of the APAC Investor Access team based in Hong Kong.
