RESPONSIBILITIES

Your future team :

Societe Generale Group’s Insurance business is at the heart of the group's development, in synergy with all the Retail Banking, Private Banking and specialized financial services businesses, in France and abroad. Its main challenge is to design and deliver fast, easy-to-use IT solutions that are innovative, scalable and secure, inspired and designed with customers, while ensuring quality every day.

To be part of Société Generale Global Solution Centre and Insurance business line, means to work in a dynamic and active environment where your work has a real impact in the company’s activity.

The Insurance business line manages multiple activities: savings,  protection insurance and damages. The team in charge of the business analysis of accounting and financial projects is looking for a functional project manager who will work on the Solvency 2 perimeter.

What you will do:

You will carry out this assignment within the team responsible for the “Solvency 2/ Financial assets” project portfolio. The mission has two components.

1.Further automation of the preparation of data related to financial assets. The data on financial assets needed to produce QRTs are currently prepared manually by the accounting teams. This work is currently being automated. Developments will be finalized in 2026. You will ensure that they are in line with expectations. You will accompany the business in the testing phase and coordinate communication with the developers until the delivery of the tools. You will assist the business counterparts  in change management

2. Deployment of the new EIOPA taxonomy. You will use your S2 expertise to steer the “Solvency 2 enhancement” project.

You will take charge of all aspects of project management / business analysis of the project:

- collection/analysis of user needs

- scoping

- participating in the design of solutions and drafting of detailed functional specifications

- organization of workshops (some of the bodies include the Accounting and Finance Departments)

-coordination with the various parties (CIO, Certification, Regulatory Production, Actuarial, Accounting, etc.)

- project reporting.

You will ensure that the project runs smoothly, and that budgets and deadlines are respected.

Since EIOPA may postpone the final publication of the new taxonomy, you could, if the project were temporarily placed on hold, intervene on one of the other projects of the team.

Profile required

•Higher education or Master degree in Engineering, Business, Economics

•Experience in the management of accounting/financial projects as project manager and/or business analyst, having delt with complex IT chains and having also coordinated project activities

•Excellent functional knowledge of the QRT set, essential for the implementation of the new taxonomy, as well as insurance flows in general

•Good knowledge of the SAP BFC tool, necessary for drafting functional specifications

•Expertise in data handling would be a plus (analysis, queries, control/reliability issues, quality improvement)

•Ability to interact with a wide variety of roles and to understand the challenges of the different business lines

•Ability to write clearly, structure information and produce professional documents; good interpersonal abilities

•Adaptability, critical thinking, rigor, autonomy.

•Ability to communicate effectively in French.
