Responsibilities

Expansion of our Structured Finance activities is a thrilling challenge. The goal is to set up new teams which will contribute to the mission of creating IT platform focused on structured finance. To achieve our ambition, we need to partner with the right people, and this is why we are looking for an It Manager.

Your role sits in the bigger international tribe, and you will cooperate with managers and specialists from different locations, with the focus on our HQ in France and our solution center in India. Your responsibility is to manage a multiskilled team (which you will first recruit), consisting of Developers, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance Analysts, Support Analysts, Data Analysts and DevOps Engineers (approximately 15 direct reports). Your goal is to steer projects deliveries & production activities while promoting agile best practices.

Your future scope of responsibility will cover:

·        Managing local team members as a hierarchical proximity manager.

·        Ensuring adequate staffing, recruitment, and team motivation.

·        Actively participating in organizing and structuring the new setup in Poland.

·        Ensuring team performance and alignment with global IT processes.

·        Driving continuous improvement and best practices within the team.

·        Sustaining strong Agile, Craftsmanship, and Continuous Delivery practices.

·        Collaborating closely with managers located in France and India.

·        Developing and maintaining a strong partnership with business teams.

·        Aligning with architecture principles and the IT roadmap.

Profile required

You will be best suited for this role if you:

·        Have experience managing a Feature Team, in particular software development.

·        Are fluent in English; knowledge of French or Polish is a plus.

·        Have worked in banking & finance sector.

·        Have worked in an Agile & Continuous Delivery environment.

·        Have a strong IT background and understand software development.

·        Have excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

·        Are customer service and results oriented.

·        Possess strong communication skills (both written and verbal).

·        Have a continuous improvement mindset and are proactive in driving change.

·        Have strong interpersonal skills and thrive in a team-oriented environment.

·        Are adaptive, open to uncertainty, and a natural challenger.

·        Have a specific experience on data would be a plus.
