IT Project Portfolio Manager

The Portfolio Manager’s role is to act as an orchestrator between the Central Directorates (DC, Line PPM and Business), the associated Information Systems Directorates (DSI of the Branch and GAM) and the management controls of the DC and DSI.
GCOO/API, the Group's Transformation Processes and Information Systems Directorate, has as its main mission to steer the Group's Digital transformation.Within GCOO, the GCOO/API team has a mission to gain maturity at the Group level in the areas of Enterprise Architecture, Projects, Processes and IT.
In response to this challenge, the PM@SG (Portfolio Management @ Société Générale) service center was set up in 2019 to pool and harmonize project and portfolio management.
Your Role in a Nutshell:
With a view to the GCOO strategy "Improve Group operational efficiency", the objective is to deliver the following 4 services:
1. Consolidation of the change and the portfolio of strategic projects at the Group level
2. Central Directions Project Portfolio Management advisory
3. Representative of the Central Directorates in the deployment of SG One Steering (Pyramid, Reporting,...)
4. Promote projects practices aligned with Group’s standards (MOOP, PFM)
Portfolio Manager assignments focus primarily on the second service provided, for a given scope (one or more Central Directorates). They contribute both to the successful execution of these tasks and to the continuous improvement of these services.
Portfolio management tasks on behalf of central management:
1. Orchestrate the actors of the DC/DSI/Management Controls tripartite through portfolio review governance
• Being a force for proposal to improve existing governance
• Plan and lead portfolio and domain review committees, contribute to engagement and strategic review committees, adapt to changing governance
• Prepare portfolio analysis materials to facilitate business decision making
• Trace all decisions made and follow up
2. Analyze the projects progress
• Check the consistency of the data in the Pyramid repository, analyze it (financials, roadmap, project health, value delivery...) and challenge it eventually. Trace Decisions
• Escalate alerts to DCs, CIOs, and Management Controls
3. Analyze of CTB - the projects portfolio
Budget monitoring at the portfolio level
Contribute to the budgetary construction of the portfolio
Contribute to the construction of consolidated summaries for all Central Directorates
Profile required
A little about You:
Qualifying experiences in project management or PMO in Banking/ Financial services
At least 3 years experience in banking field/consultancy or financial shared services
Strong proven project and portfolio management & analysis skills
Previous experience in IT field, understanding of IT architectures and interdependencies
French & English language advanced
Excel knowledge advanced
