Responsibilities

Duties

  • Price and manage the JGB franchise during  
  • Liaise and communicate with sales teams to produce and present trade idea, 
  • Compete appropriately and effectively on all e-trading platforms to maintain hit ratios, market share and profitability, 
  • Provide timely commentary & analysis of events affecting relevant markets 
  • Collaborate with quantitative developers to improve trading tools and systems to help SG become more efficient in pricing and managing risk 
  • Communicate with clients on a regular basis to create trusted relationships and increased market share,

Profile required

Key Skill Areas & knowledge Required:

  • Strong knowledge in rates instruments, in particular Japan/G10 flow rates
  • Comfortable risk taker with a demonstrated ability to profitably manage large flows
  • Strong communication skills to interact with all support functions 
  • Proactivity to support/help other desk members, need to back up each other. 
  • Japanese speaker since all the communication with sales, regulators, central banks, and brokers are being done by Japanese

  • English Language: Business Level
  • Japanese Language: Native Level
