Responsibilities

A part of GTPS department, Back Office Post Exchange team is responsible for account reconciliations (various currencies), settlements and claims in cooperation with Middle Office (who contact the clients) and Exchange (who manage day to day payments). As a Junior Agent, you will join the Italian desk (a team of four) in their mission of investigating payment issues.

Your future scope of responsibility will cover:

  • Processing of claims and investigations for related product and processes (mainly credit transfers and direct debits)

  • Monitoring and reconciliation of nostri and internal accounts including justification and regularization action

  • Processing of charges and  corrections

  • Cooperating with other Departments of Societe Generale

  • Preparing reports and statistics as part of local regulatory obligations and internal rules

Profile required

  • You have worked in a back office in a bank or financial institution (ideally for 2 years)

  • Alternatively, you have a Bachelor’s degree in finance-related field

  • You understand banking products and settlements (SEPA, SWITF, Target...), previous experience in commercial payments will be an added value

  • You speak very good English and Polish (fluency in Italian or French will be an asset)

  • You enjoy working in a team as well as independently

  • You are attentive to detail and show exceptional accuracy

  • You are curious and take initiative
