Your Key Contributions
Proactively support the Front Office in processing credit requests while maintaining independent and objective credit opinions.
Centralize necessary credit information and agreements to prepare clear and comprehensive credit applications for proposed transactions.
Determine and/or propose internal obligor ratings and prepare credit analysis papers for Japanese corporate clients, based on a thorough understanding of the companies and their industries.
Monitor credit risk exposure and counterparty limits at the group level.
Assist with special credit‑related assignments and projects as required.
Support local regulatory reporting activities.
Profile required
Profile Requirements
Minimum qualifications, capabilities and skills
Basic credit analysis skills for corporate clients.
Foundational knowledge of financial accounting and tax.
Basic understanding of financial products (e.g., loans, guarantees, derivative products).
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
Knowledge of legal documentation, including ISDA/CSA.
Strong PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Good command of English.
Ability to read Japanese, ideally to the level required to understand financial statements written in Japanese.
Prior experience as a credit analyst handling Japanese corporate customers is preferred.
Mature, proactive, self‑directed, with strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
