Junior Sales GTP
Responsibilities
Within the GTB framework, the GTB Junior Sales contributes to the delivery of the global financial trajectory by:
i) supporting senior sales (either GTB or specialist) on commercial activities
ii) being the day-to-day GTB client entry point for all commercial topics
iii) having direct client commercial objectives
The GTB Junior Sales has a good knowledge of one or more GTB products for corporates (PCM, TRA, SGF), has the capacity to understand clients’ needs and the related commercial and operational implications, addressing to other desk’s colleagues specific or more complex requests (commercial and non-commercial).
The Junior Sales reports to the Head of GTPS Desk (as exception reporting to Head of Sales when position confirmed in the country).
Tasks and responsibilities:
GTB Junior Sales main responsibilities are:
Commercial:
Supports Senior Sales on commercial activity development: pitch preparation, client meetings, credit file preparation, local RFP analysis and answer, business feasibility analysis, follow-up actions
Identifies, from his/her interaction with the client, sales potential and directly manage simple client business upside request
Ensures data quality of commercial activity (IC report, pipeline valuation, client structure, GAP, etc.)
Prepares, in collaboration with other Sales team and Client Service, local portfolio review (including client commercial action plan) / annual GTPS relationship reviews / business co. preparation / annual price reviews
Be proactive in the local deployment of specific commercial campaign and BLs pushes
Realize specific commercial analysis (client profitability, client product equipment, etc.) – in collaboration with other desk’s actors (eg. Clients Service Unit review)
Ensures and oversees timely response of client inquiries
For some - directly manages his/ her portfolio of clients (small MNC / small Low Touch clients – IG with no credit delegation), build and deliver the GTB commercial plan for his/her portfolio of clients
Operational:
Day-to-day GTB client entry point for Front-End related matters (commercial, credit or equipment) and client request transfer to Client Service Unit (CSU) for non-commercial topics potentially raised by client to sales
handles credit documentation and keeps related systems up-to-date or asks support teams (MO/EMO) to do so (BANCS, LIQ, CashFit)
Follows-up on contract negotiation
In coordination with Client Service Unit:
Coordinate the onboarding and run of most complex & strategic GTB clients (excluding incidents management)
Support local booking operations
- Ensures Risk appetite framework is complied with on his/her scope, including the contribution of the desk to the respect of GTPS Risk appetite statement notably country limits and sectorial limits
Profile required
Studies & experience:
Expertise in one or more GTB products for corporates: PCM, TRA, SGF
Language skills:
English: C1
German: C1
Other languages are considered a plus
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
Good knowledge of GTB bank processes and products implications
Good listening skills and capacity to understand clients needs / identify business opportunities
