Societe Generale Global Solution Centre (SG GSC) acts as a business solutions center for Société Générale, one of the largest European financial groups. We provide high quality professional services in over 35 countries in various business areas - Finance & Accounting, HR, IT and Corporate Operations. IT Filiere is part of the Centre and comprises four Perimeters: Retail Banking, Security and Infrastructure, Internal Support Applications and Investment Banking, with a total of more than 800 IT professionals.

Within the Société Générale Group, you will join Global Technology Services (GTS), which is the IT entity in charge of infrastructure and its Digital Workplace Services teams, whose mission is to provide the Group's employees with their Digital Workplace.

Digital Workplace brings together all the services and tools of the work environment: the personal workstation of course, but also the smartphone, the corporate social network, communication and collaborative tools such as messaging, Teams, SharePoint, etc.

Seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to develop and maintain high-quality, clear, and user-centric content for our internal platform. The ideal candidate will ensure that documentation is accurate, accessible, and aligned with user needs across both French and English audiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Write, simplify, and test support and troubleshooting procedures in French and English based on the technicians' knowledge base.
  • Organize synchronization meetings with experts to fully understand the tools/applications to be documented.
  • Manage updates to the synonym dictionary in French and English to optimize search functionality.
  • Update procedures in the content management tool (procedures, metadata, etc.) based on Quality reviews conducted by KPOs.
  • Ensure consistency between metadata in the platform records to guarantee proper contextualization of knowledge.
  • Handle user feedback on incorrect or incomplete procedures in our internal platform to improve content quality.
  • Train new contributors.
  • Participate in testing tools such as the smart assistant.
  • Conduct user interviews to stay aligned with user language and expectations.

Profile required

  • Excellent written comprehension and expression in French and English, with strong attention to grammar, syntax, and technical vocabulary.

  • Mastery of editorial guidelines: Ability to understand and apply the company’s editorial standards to ensure consistency and quality of produced documents.

  • Knowledge and proficiency in one or more Content Management Systems (CMS).

  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data analysis for reporting and visualization.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodology.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (technical writing or equivalent).

  • Good analytical and synthesis skills
