Lead Automation Tester

Overview
We are looking for a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our data and analytics platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with big data technologies, containerization, automation, and CI/CD practices, along with solid Linux system administration and scripting skills.
Key Responsibilities
•Maintain and improve the availability, performance, and reliability of critical infrastructure components including Elastic Stack, HDFS, Trino, and Tableau.
•Develop and automate monitoring, alerting, and incident response workflows to enable proactive issue detection and resolution.
•Collaborate with development, data engineering, and analytics teams to deploy, configure, and optimize platform services.
•Manage containerized environments using Podman or Docker for application deployment and orchestration.
•Automate operational and deployment tasks using Bash scripting and Python to enhance efficiency.
•Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git and related tools to support continuous integration and delivery.
•Utilize configuration management and orchestration tools such as Ansible (considered a plus) to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
•Perform root cause analysis for incidents and implement permanent solutions to prevent recurrence.
•Support capacity planning, system tuning, and performance optimization efforts.
•Ensure adherence to security best practices across all managed systems and applications.
•Maintain thorough documentation including runbooks, operational procedures, and incident reports.
•Participate in on-call rotations and provide 24/7 support coverage as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
•Proven experience in a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
•Strong expertise with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash) for monitoring and logging.
•Hands-on experience managing and troubleshooting HDFS clusters and distributed file systems.
•Proficiency with Trino for distributed SQL query processing.
•Experience supporting Tableau server environments and dashboard operations.
•Solid Linux system administration skills including networking, security, and package management.
•Experience with container technologies such as Podman or Docker.
•Proficient scripting skills in Bash and Python for automation tasks.
•Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines for source code management and automated deployment.
•Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible is a plus.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
