Lead Business Analyst – Banking/ Finance / Risk / Accounting/ Regulatory Domain
Experience: 8–11 Years
Responsibilities:
- Lead complex business analysis engagements across finance, risk, and regulatory domains, leveraging the Mapping Factory as a core transformation capability.
- Own end‑to‑end functional scope, ensuring consistent interpretation of business, accounting, and regulatory intent across BUs and Group usages.
- Act as the functional authority for Mapping Factory rule usage, reuse, and decomposition across eligibility, rejection, defaulting, enrichment, transformation, aggregation, and split logic.
- Define and govern target business processes, operating models, and business capability maps enabled by the Mapping Factory platform.
- Ensure regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements (Basel, IFRS 9, CRR2/CRR3, BCBS239) are correctly embedded into functional designs and governance workflows.
- Lead functional impact assessments for rule and mapping changes, arbitrating trade‑offs between reuse, specificity, risk, and certification implications.
- Drive UAT strategy, business readiness, and go‑live support for large‑scale regulatory or finance initiatives.
- Oversee preparation and validation of certification evidence, ensuring readiness for BU and Group certification cycles.
- Use advanced SQL analysis and financial logic to validate solution behavior, resolve discrepancies, and support executive decision‑making.
- Act as the primary functional interface between Product Owners, Architects, Engineering Leads, and senior Business stakeholders.
- Lead and facilitate senior‑level workshops, governance forums, and functional walkthroughs.
- Mentor and coach Business Analysts, reviewing deliverables for quality, consistency, regulatory soundness, and traceability.
- Promote best practices for requirement management, rule governance, auditability, and lifecycle management.
- Support critical production escalations, providing functional root‑cause analysis and corrective recommendations.
- Contribute to product and platform roadmap discussions from a domain and regulatory perspective.
- Ensure effective collaboration across onshore and offshore teams and support critical delivery or certification timelines as required.

Senior Business Analysis leader with deep domain expertise in finance and risk, capable of providing enterprise‑level functional direction and governance across complex, regulated transformation programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years of Business Analysis experience in banking, financial services, or regulatory environments.
- Deep domain expertise in Credit Risk, Finance, Regulatory Reporting, or Liquidity Risk.
- Strong understanding of Credit Risk models and metrics (PD, LGD, ECL, RWA) and their regulatory usage.
- Proven experience with regulatory frameworks including Basel II/III/IV, IFRS 9, CRR2/CRR3.
- Expert‑level ability to use SQL for data analysis, validation, and investigation across complex datasets.
- Strong analytical capability using Excel and structured reasoning.
- Demonstrated experience leading large, cross‑functional, multi‑stakeholder initiatives.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and decision‑making skills in senior forums.
- Proven experience working in global onshore/offshore delivery models.
Preferred Qualifications:
- FRM, CFA, or equivalent professional certification.
- Experience with BCBS239‑aligned data and risk transformation programs.
- Exposure to enterprise data platforms, mapping engines, referential‑driven architectures, or certification frameworks.
- Experience supporting regulatory audits or supervisory interactions.
- Ability to influence senior leadership and shape enterprise functional strategy.
