Responsibilities
Lead Credit Analyst (Societe Generale, New York, NY)
Support Coverage and Business Line teams in the underwriting and renewal of new and existing credit and derivative facilities for assigned portfolio; Review legal documentation and set credit terms for derivative facilities; Ensure timely and comprehensive credit analysis compliant with SGUS credit policies for both new transactions and renewal of existing facilities; Coordinate the internal credit approval process using systems such as MyCredit and Credit Workflow, ensuring timely and accurate submissions; Perform timely proposal and renewal of Obligor Risk Ratings and assignment of regulatory classifications for transactions and counterparties in portfolio; Coordinate the work of credit analysts supporting the assigned portfolio to ensure consistency and adherence to internal standards; Perform on-going monitoring of portfolio including convent compliance, approval conditions, application of generic and specific triggers, and other monitoring and reporting applicable to portfolio; Perform monitoring and timely renewal of credit limits for clients in assigned portfolio and submission to 2LOD within prescribed deadlines; Ensure team is aware of and complies with all applicable internal and external regulatory requirements; and Identify and propose training / development needs for analysts under responsibility. Partial telecommuting permitted; on-site at 245 Park Ave., New York, NY 10167 when not remote. Salary: $180,107 - $330,000 per year.
Profile required
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Business Administration, Finance or related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as a Credit Analyst, Analyst or any occupation, job title, position performing credit analysis on large (Fortune 100) corporate space. Must also have the following: 5 years of professional experience analyzing and evaluating credit risk and financial conditions utilizing quantitative and qualitative data (including historical financial analysis and projected financial performance); 5 years of professional experience utilizing Microsoft Word for written analysis and Excel for spreadsheet analysis; 5 years of professional experience working with capital markets, traded products and committed financing facilities; 3 years of professional experience reviewing standard loan and derivative documentation (including ISDA Master Agreements) applicable to large corporate borrowers; and 3 years of professional experience navigating internal credit approval platforms (including MyCredit or Credit Workflow) to coordinate, submit, and monitor credit approvals and related documentation in compliance with internal risk frameworks and regulatory expectations.

COMPENSATION:
Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and includes a competitive benefits package including 401(k) plan with company match, medical/dental/vision, and other benefits for fertility, wellness, student loans and commuters.
