Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and Implementing Data Quality Strategies:

This involves defining data quality requirements, setting standards, and establishing metrics to measure progress.

  • Monitoring Data Quality:

This includes regular data quality checks, identifying errors or inconsistencies, and tracking performance against established metrics.

  • Resolving Data Quality Issues:

This involves investigating root causes of data quality problems, implementing corrective actions, and working with stakeholders to address issues.

  • Improving Data Management Systems:

This may involve optimizing data storage, implementing data cleansing processes, and enhancing data management procedures.

  • Ensuring Compliance:

This includes adhering to data quality standards, regulations, and best practices.

  • Promoting Data Quality Awareness:

This involves educating staff on data quality principles and best practices.

  • Collaboration:

Working with various teams (IT, business units, etc.) to ensure data quality management is integrated into their processes.

Specific Tasks:

  • Creating data quality metrics and dashboards to monitor data quality.
  • Developing and maintaining data dictionaries and data lineage documentation.
  • Conducting data analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Recommending changes to data storage and management systems.
  • Providing training and guidance on data quality best practices.
  • Managing data quality projects from initiation to completion.
  • Staying up to date with data quality trends and technologies. 

Profile required

'- Excellent understanding of Investment Banking domain. Functional SME on the application modules handled.
- Excellent knowledge on all process handled.
- Effective stake holder management, co-ordination with team, participating in workshops, understanding requirements.
-Establish and help manage change to the performance standards for the set up by setting clear goals & providing regular feedback 
- Perform reporting on deliverables of the team to higher management and stake holders.
- Audit meetings/ samples quality/ observations etc to be handled efficiently. Work closely with management on audit topics
-Continuously evaluating and improving systems and processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- To Identify/suggest/implement all relevant control checks in the respective processes to mitigate the risk 
- Ensure team’s effective understanding of specific process and strict adherence to relevant procedures to deliver project.
- Promote a positive attitude towards internal policies, procedures and controls.
- Work closely with managers on various projects.
- Actively seek to identify and improve current core procedures.
- Maintain proper audit trial and documentation to eliminate risks (Financial, Operational and Legal).
