Lead - Market Data
Responsibilities
High level details on the Operations\Activities:
ü Manage Market Data global inventory MDM
Update MDM with terms of contracts under responsibility of Market Data, based on Commercial Activity (new contracts, renewals, cancellations) and based on MDM requirements (team\custom user vs real user; what vendor account).
Adjust the set-up in MDM based on the methodology of internal cost allocations ensuring the ease for Order Mgmt & Invoicing Teams
Manage Cost Code & Logical Structure changes at large scale level during Re-Org of the organization
(i.e., when the Organization\a few entities go through changes).
Manage Legal Entities that are mandatory for ARIBA - Manage creation, renewal, closure of Pos in ARIBA & in MDM
Monthly reptable lock
ü Invoicing: Manage L2 Invoice queries that L1 team is unable to manage and resolve. Requires coordinating with VMs, Vendors, Business etc., Reviewing\Understanding Commercial summaries and then advising L1 team to bring to closure.
ü Query\Mailbox Management: Manage critical emails from various clients\business and from vendors through shared mailbox.
ü Business reports - Strong analytical & reporting skills, understand business needs and come with ideas of new reports, send business reports to clients and take care of clients’ feedback: update inventory, update mailing lists, etc.
ü MDSL Dashboard Skills – Ability to build dashboards with the help of Dashboard features & options for various analytical purposes.
ü LSEG Refinitiv DAD Processes: Manage the quarterly Access Statement of LSEG Refinitiv.
ü Transformation - Be proactive in terms in continuous improvement of L1 and L2 Admin processes, Work with partners (DFIN, DWS) to cope with their transformation projects (new tool, new entity, sale of entity) and adjust processes of L1 teams accordingly
- Proactiveness and ability to work in autonomy, lead projects, to manage priorities & to work in a multi-culture environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently among the peer group, inter-dependent teams, and extended teams
- Proactively identify process gaps, suggest enhancement areas
- Ability to proactively assess the process risks and put-in place appropriate controls
- Must ensure that the self and the team level KPIs are met with respect to timelines (SLAs) and quality
- Escalation Management & Proactively alerting\creating visibility to Mgmt.
- POC for new challenges\Migrations\Transitions
Profile required
Preferably 9 + years of Market Data Operations Experience with deep level of understanding on
- Market Data Service Order management & Invoice Reconciliation
- Expertise on MDM Tool by Calero MDSL, Dashboard Functionality, Bloomberg Online Portal, Bpipe, DACS & Other related tools
- Ability to understand Market Data Pricing Methods, Commercial Implications, translating them into seamless set-up in MDM
- Interact\work with multiple parties such as, Vendor Managers, Vendors, Business based on the need to get timely & desired result
- Any prior experience of leading, executing any Market Data relevant projects (Cost Optimization, Data Standardization or, Clean-up etc.,) along with MS PowerPoint skills can be of an edge.
