Lead – Payments & Settlements
Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities
• Lead the Payment Operations team.
• Serve as an operational expert for queries from clients/team members and other stakeholders
• Strong skillset in Swift platform both (MT & MX ISO20022)
• Flexible to support during the contingency situation
• Ensure to validate the payment orders adhering the currency cut off
• Ensure activities performed within prescribed SLAs efficiently
• Identifying operational risks proactively and provide solutions
• Monitor and control workflows
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes
• Monitor implementation of key performance and risk indicators to strengthen back-office processes and controls towards achieving
operational excellence
• Ensure that policies, procedures, best practices, mission and objectives set by management are adhered to on daily discharge of duties
• Ensure to draft the SOP and manage the agent trainings
• Ensure quality management.

- Sustain and improve the BAU deliverables
2. Prioritization of work based on complexity
3. Maintain good quality on the payments processing and ensure that there are no complaints
4. Improve the efficiency in the post settlement process to ease out the impact in operations
5. Share knowledge through KT sessions, Trainings and Team Meetings to create process awareness within the team
6. Ability to interact effectively and collaboratively with users as well as with other teams on business requirements and clarifications
7. Effective coordination with on-site and other Support teams
8. Ensure smooth functioning of BAU during the implementation of ISO 20022. Adapt to the defined process and eliminate an operational incident.

A very solid grounding in operational aspects of various payments operations
Good knowledge on Settlements and Cash Management functions related to GTPS businesses.
Profile required
To be able to work together and in close collaboration with Onshore Back Office Teams.
Communicate in an international environment with various internal and external clients. Understanding of trade and payment’s end to end process (Front Office, Back Office and Counterparts).
To be able to multitask.
To escalate on issues whenever necessary.
Able to meet deadlines. Specific Context Fluent in English – Spoken and written
