Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Lead Software Engineer with strong expertise in cloud-native application development, data handling, and Agile methodologies for our private cloud platform product Advisory. The ideal candidate will have a production mindset, a passion for continuous improvement, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications, APIs, and microservices.
  • Implement coding and testing standards to ensure reliability and scalability.
  • Proactively investigate, evaluate, and implement new technical solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Manage large volumes of data within back-office processes, ensuring performance and reliability.
  • Monitor, analyze, and resolve production issues with a strong focus on quality.
  • Collaborate with client managers, developers, testers, architects, and cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to inner and open sourcing initiatives for innovation and code reuse.
  • Work within Agile/SAFe teams, delivering regular, high-quality increments.
  • Challenge legacy systems and propose meaningful improvements aligned with product goals.
 

Profile required

Required Skills & Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in software development and architecture.

  • Programming & Architecture: Strong experience in Python, object-oriented programming, and microservices architecture.
  • Cloud Expertise: Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, operations, and resource definitions; familiarity with AWS and Azure.
  • Data Handling: Ability to manage large datasets and optimize performance.
  • Database Management: Proficient in PostgreSQL and writing robust SQL queries.
  • Visualization & Monitoring: Experience with Grafana, ElasticSearch, and FluentD.
  • Containerization & Deployment: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Proficient with GIT, Jenkins, Sonar, and automation pipelines.
  • System Skills: Strong knowledge of Linux OS and bash scripting.
  • Agile Practices: Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and transversal responsibilities.
  • Proactivity & Product Orientation: Ability to challenge legacy systems and drive iterative enhancements.
