Work actively with team members to ensure production stability with proactive monitoring of the application
Vigilantly address production incidents
Escalate issues and other topics to the right team when needed.
Perform daily checks and apply recovery and troubleshooting procedures strictly.
Work on requests and communicate effectively with users, collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues across FTS locations
Identify opportunities to solve recurring issues and work along with L3 team to deploy the fixes

Flexibility to work on rotational shifts and weekends as per business requirement

Must have skills :
- Overall Experience: Must have at least 4 -6 years L2 Application Support Experience
- Expertise on Oracle(Sql/PLSql), Java and Scripting languages (Ksh ,Bash etc)
- Ability to learn and monitor on different platforms
- Ability to write queries and debug stored procedures on any RDBMS(Oracle, Sybase)
- Good Knowledge on UNIX based environments/scripting along with scheduling tools like Autosys,Ctrl M etc.
- Should have good understanding on ETL process
- Self Starter, Believe in Team work, Take Ownership & Responsibility
- Able to demonstrate the experience on automation of manual tasks and checks (preferable)
- ITIL Foundation V3 Certification (preferable)
- Ready to work on rotational shifts
Good to have skills:
- Knowledge of web services an added advantage
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
