Responsibilities

Full Stack Web Developer Senior

Purpose:

To provide technical leadership of the Userdesk platform development, with extended responsibility for software architecture, application security, DevOps/CI processes, authentication and critical integrations with external systems (Charisma, Cortex/CortexMiddleware). This role is central to the application technology evolution strategy, process automation, new technology testing and system scaling. Coordinates the technical team and manages major architectural decisions.

Responsibilities:

Technical architecture and strategy:

  • Define and maintain Userdesk application architecture (frontend and backend).

  • Responsible for database architecture, defining tables, schemas and relationships.

  • Participates in complex technical decision making.

CortexMiddleware administration and development:

  • Is fully responsible for the CortexMiddleware application, which intermediates the integration between Userdesk and Cortex.

  • Manages the design, development, maintenance and scaling of this middleware application.

Functional flows and integration:

  • Coordinates the flows between Userdesk and Charisma.

  • Develops the logic for the validation of the SelfService mode and forms.

Authentication and Entitlements:

  • Responsible for the authentication and authorization mechanism in the platform.

  • Automates the processes of granting/revoking rights (through the Charisma-Userdesk flow).

Upgrade and technologies:

  • Plans and executes upgrade of PHP versions and Laravel framework.

  • Test and validate new technologies.

DevOps and security:

  • Manages the DevOps area: CI/CD, code standardization, monitoring.

  • Handles application security, audits and vulnerability prevention.

Technology and script integration:

  • Integrates new modules into the platform.

  • Uses VBS for automation and troubleshooting (old version)

Team coordination and delivery:

  • Coordinates the development team.

  • Provides code review, mentoring and interdepartmental collaboration.

Stack Technologic:

  • Frontend: Livewire, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap

  • Backend: PHP (Laravel), VBS, REST APIs

  • Database: Mysql, Oracle, MsSql, SQL Server

  • DevOps: GitLab

  • Securitate: OAuth2, 2FA

  • Other: LDAP, Microsoft Exchange, Postman and unitary tests



Profile required

Key competencies:

  • Enterprise level software and database architecture

  • Technical leadership and mentoring in multidisciplinary teams

  • Process automation and external application integration

  • DevOps and application security skills

  • Experience working with diverse technologies (including older languages like VBS)

  • High analytical and technical decision making skills
