Responsibilities
Lead Software Engineer 7 to 10 yrs Oracle HCM Technical
Should have 7 to 10 years of experience in requirement gathering, analysis, and document business requirements from various stakeholders and perform fit-gap analysis to map them to Oracle Cloud HCM functionality (Performance Management, Talent, Success & Planning, Compensation and Dynamic Skills). Functional professional who understands solutions, industry best practices, well coordination with the clients, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment and technology to meet customer needs. Should also act as the functional consultant for technical streams. Participates in business development activities and configure solutions for the project requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. In depth knowledge in configure Oracle Cloud HCM with expertise in at least 3 modules from Performance Management, Talent, Success & Planning, Compensation and Dynamic Skills.
2. Expected to have good articulation and presentation skills in both verbal and written.
3. The candidate must have Technical expertise on the below Oracle HCM functionalities
Technical Configuration & Module Ownership
Configure and enhance:
o Performance Management templates, workflows, rating scales, and forms
o Talent profiles, competency libraries, capability frameworks
o Succession planning structures, calibration, talent pools, readiness matrices
o Compensation cycles, guidelines, eligibility rules, calculation logic
o Dynamic Skill frameworks including ontology, mapping, and skill inference
Develop MDF objects, business rules, workflows, XML configurations (if relevant to the platform).
Troubleshoot system issues, data inconsistencies, workflow breaks, and RBP (Role-Based Permissions).
Manage end-to-end system changes using proper SDLC/change-control processes.
Build and maintain dashboards and reports for:
· Performance scores
· Talent demographics & readiness
· Succession pipelines
· Compensation insights
· Skill heatmaps and capability analytics
Conduct root‑cause analysis for data discrepancies and performance bottlenecks.
o Conduct workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements for absence and time management processes. Perform fit-gap analysis and design a solution based on Oracle Cloud capabilities.
o Conduct training sessions and create user documentation to enable end-users and provide post-go-live support.
o Work closely with other functional and technical streams to ensure seamless integration and a cohesive solution.
o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently manage and resolve functional challenges
o Raising SR, coordination with Oracle on issue resolution, assist in the identification and resolution of complex issues/problems on configuration
4. Should have completed at least 2 implementation projects on the above-mentioned mandatory skills and should be an independent contributor.
5. The candidate should have been in client facing roles and interacted with customers in requirement gathering workshops.
6. Should have strong written and verbal communication skills, personal drive, flexibility, team player, problem solving, influencing and negotiation skills.
7. Willing to work in shifts
8. Good to have skills:
o Agile Methodology of working
o Exposure to Jira board management
o Experience in test cycle management
Profile required
Should have 7 to 10 years of Oracle experience in Oracle HCM technical with at least 2 end to end implementation expertise. Techno functional professional who understands solutions, industry best practices, well coordination with the clients, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement
