Lead Software Engineer - PRD
Responsibilities
As an Individual Contributor-
The role requires decent technical knowledge (UNIX, Database), business /functional skills. The role involves direct interaction with operations/middle office. Besides of the day to day support, the employee is in charge of projects. Helped by the support manager, resource works on projects which involves coordination and planning but also a direct relationship with the business line representatives/sponsors. The employee is be part of the Application Support team of SGSC/GBS/FRM. The PRD team is dedicated to the support of the applications developed for Equity Pricing Calculator. It aims at professionalizing support functions by allocating specific resources to that mission. As a member of the PRD/SUP team, the employee is responsible for the following functions:
Provide Application Support for a wide range of applications working within a global organization
- 1st and 2nd level Technical & functional support.
- To work closely with the business, gathering their needs.
- Daily Production monitoring
- Process follow-up
- Regular Interactions with Developers and infrastructure teams..
- Responsible for handling Incident reporting, problem analysis, Request management
- Handle Release/Change management.
Profile required
As an Individual Contributor-
- Qualification- BE / B.Tech / MCA in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering with an excellent academic track record
- 7 to 10 years of experience in Application support
- Good Knowledge of ITIL process.
- Good Analytical and Problem-solving skills
- Good technical knowledge on Unix and Oracle Database
Good to have:
- Experience in Investment Banking sector
- Knowledge on Agile development methodologies, and exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins
- Good Communication skills
- Database skills (MySQL & SQL server)
- Exposure to Python, Shell scripting will be a plus
