Responsibilities

SG GSC is seeking an F5 engineer with 8-9 years’ experience  to be a part of the Global Technology Infrastructure and Managed Services team. This position provides planning, configuration and operational support to remote access, mobility, Virtual Private Network (VPN), and Domain Name System (DNS) operations on AWS cloud platforms with service delivery management who will be able to manage the service with customer.

The F5 engineer will be responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of the F5 BIG IP infrastructure In AWS cloud platform.  Furthermore, the engineers will be required to perform all F5 APM/LTM load balancer functions to include: creating virtual servers, pools/pool members, nodes, monitors, iRules etc. Furthermore, the engineers will be responsible for all load balancer support for cloud service providers mainly AWS. This role also have service management and project management responsibilities to manage the client service.

Profile required

·         Hands-on experience in AWS cloud platform.

·         Expertise on AWS Cloud networking skills.

·         Service delivery management who will be able to manage the service with clients.

·         Project management to drive strategic projects in the domain.

·         Supporting ongoing maintenance and enhancement of an existing F5 Access Policy Manager infrastructure

·         Build and management of F5 solutions.

·         Responsible for overall Infrastructure of internet access points and Security

·         Accountable for all the Infrastructure which is part of VPN.

·         The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with Enterprise Remote Access software F5 APM,F5 ASM, Fortinet Firewalls, AWS Cloud Network Implementation, and DNS operations.

·         Strong Working experience on implementation and management of IPSEC tunnels on cloud and on-site.

·         Excellent attention to detail

·         Excellent communications skills and ability to interact with clients

·         Experience with AWS Network Infra build and management.

·         Significant experience with supporting and maintaining F5 Big-IP APM to include set-up, maintenance, upgrades and replacement of the latest generation of F5s

·         Demonstrate an ability to craft and understand iRules

·         Experience with TCPDump, Wireshark and analyzing network traffic

·         Solid troubleshooting skills

·         Strong knowledge in ITIL incident, change and problem management processes

·         Demonstrate a solid understanding of the OSI and TCP/IP network models and provide examples

·         Experience analyzing security impacts and risks to websites, explain crafting ASM policies with examples.

·         Experience in custom SSL, ciphers, and LTM traffic performance optimization Experience with supporting and maintaining wireless networks

·         knowledge of networking and systems administration; and the ability to troubleshoot problems

·         Serve as a subject matter expert in supporting Big-IP APM solution

·         Perform daily operational tasks submitted by customers through Service management tools

·         Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, software, devices and appliances in support of infrastructure

·         Prepare network or infrastructure Visio topology diagrams, write Standard Operating Procedures, maintenance plans and provide status reports as required, participate in data calls and other operational and maintenance tasks

·         Troubleshoot network problems, network device configurations and coordinate with various department administrators to facilitate connectivity issue resolution

·         Technical skills on F5 APM

Experience

Minimum of 8-9 years’ experience in Network & Security domain and expertise on management of AWS Network infrastructure.

Must have :

·         F5 APM experience

·         Fortinet Firewall

·         AWS cloud Network

·         Network Routing skills

·         Internet DNS Skills

·         Service Delivery management

·         Project management

Desirable:

·         AWS Cloud working expertise

·         Service delivery management skills

·         Project management skills

·         F5 certification or equivalent work experience;

·         Cisco certification or equivalent work experience;
