Lead Systems Engineer
Responsibilities

Delivery & Operations
Mandatory Skills:
- 10+ years of experience and at least 8+ years relevant experience in Network Operations
- Well versed with Security skills (firewall coding, policy pushes, ), R&S, Appliances
- Experience on CheckPoint Firewall Upgrades and Replacements (as part of legacy refresh)
- Knowledge on Routing and Switching & F5 to perform end to end route check
- In depth knowledge on implementing VPN solutions on Checkpoint/Juniper/Fortigate firewalls
- Extensive troubleshooting experience on VPN related issues on Firewalls
- Knowledge on Firewall administration and orchestration tools such as Tufin
- High level knowledge of the firewalls is mandatory
- Must know to code on a Fortiget and Checkpoint FW
- Prior experience in Juniper/CheckPoint/Cisco TAC or Network Operation Center (L3/L4 level)
- Experience in supporting large enterprise level network infrastructure with more than 5000 devies
- Routing - BGP, OSPF, EIGRP + Switching, NXOS, Cisco ACI, F5
- Hands on experience on designing/ managing VPN infrastructure.
- Take the lead in outage calls
- Own and drive root cause and permanent resolution
- Perform moderate network changes
- Provide expertise as Network SME
- Good communication and presenting skills

Good to have Skills:
- Basic understanding of Proxies
- Familiarity in handling complex Network Infras containing multi-VRF architecture
- Good to have similar knowledge on Fortigate Firewalls
- DHCP, DNS, AD Knowledge
Profile required
• 8+ years of experience and at least 6+ years relevant experience in handling Firewalls
• Good knowledge on CheckPoint and/or Fortigate firewall and troubleshooting critical issues
• Good Experience on CheckPoint and/or Fortigate Firewall Upgrades and Replacements (as part of legacy refresh)
• In depth knowledge on implementing and troubleshooting VPN solutions on Checkpoint/Fortigate firewalls
• Basic knowledge of F5 LoadBalancer
• Hands on experience on Proxies (Mcafee and/or Bluecoat) [Optional]
Common skills:
• Take the lead in outage calls
• Own and drive root cause and permanent resolution
• Provide expertise as Network SME
• Good communication and presenting skills
