Legal Advisor
Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented, French- and English-speaking legal professional to ensure seamless negotiation and post-execution legal and operational delivery. The role will focus on accurate contractual data management, legal negotiations, compliance adherence, and continuous improvement through AI-driven process optimization. The individual will be expected deliver accurate, high-quality outcomes under tight timelines, effective stakeholder communication, a proactive approach to process improvement and AI-driven automation for efficiency and scalability, and support multi-stream initiatives aligned with business priorities.
Specifically, you will be required to:
- Review and extract data from the framework contract documentation (Master Agreement) and other agreements based on English and French law or drafted in English and French;
- Review and analysis of constitutional documents to determine the capacity and authority to engage in products subject to derivative financial instruments;
- Liaise with counterparts and various other internal stakeholders to ensure progress of files;
- Follow-up of the activity both internally and with its counterparts to gather comments, information, review feedback to finally have complete agreements;
- Organize the execution of concluded contracts and sending them for signature to the contracting parties;
- Follow-up of the activity to ensure the completion and closure of files;
- Other ad-hoc projects arising from the legal / regulatory reform;
- Update internal tools, trackers or files, systems with document or status data;
- Translate of previously mentioned documents and auxiliary documents above from French / into English and vice versa;
Profile required
Legal background: Faculty of Law;
Previous legal work experience min 1 year is also considered a plus ;
Fluent speaker of English and French, minimum level B2-C1 (medium-advanced level of writing and speaking) ;
Proactive attitude in carrying out tasks, both independently, as well as in the decisions made at team level ;
Efficient implementation of decisions/tasks taken at team level in the project execution plan ;
Strong abilities to comply within EOD/given time for tasks allocated;
Initiative in establishing and maintaining a constant communication in relation to stakeholders (intra-group partners) ;
Medium knowledge of Microsoft office (outlook, excel, word) ;
Work background using various tools is a plus.
