Responsibilities

In order to contribute to Ayvens sustainable growth and profitable business, Central LOD1 NFR & Compliance team has been created to provide an efficient and proportionate framework, and to enable the 1st Line of Defense to adequately identify, mitigate and monitor their non-financial risks on a day-to-day basis. Central LOD1 NFR & Compliance team develops a continuous improvement process for the overall framework to ensure it remains fit for purpose overtime.

Within the Central LOD1 NFR & Compliance team, LOD1 Internal Control team is in charge of supporting and supervising the 45 Ayvens subsidiaries on non-financial risk management issues, in particular through the deployment and maintenance of the internal control system.

The apprentice will join LOD1 Internal Control team and will mainly work on LOD1 Internal Control topics. As such, together with the other LOD1 Internal Control team members, the apprentice will:

  • Participate in the execution of various projects to improve Ayvens LOD1 Internal Control system, including but not limited to:
    • implementation of Activity-Process-Risk-Control (APRC) framework & methodology,
    • Level 1 Controls’ library definition & update,
    • Level 1 Controls’ deployment,
    • etc.
  • Provide support on Level 1 Controls’ Tools for Ayvens subsidiaries on a day to-day basis.
  • Manage user accesses and ensure the maintenance & content update of dedicated LOD1 Sharepoints (Internal Control, ICCC, LOD3 monitoring), as the main communication tool with Ayvens subsidiaries.
  • Contribute to the animation of LOD1 NFR community in Ayvens subsidiaries.
  • Review & analyze the results of Level 1 Controls carried out by the responsible staff in Ayvens subsidiaries (reliability of information, compliance with procedures and deadlines, etc.) and implement actions aimed at remediating the identified process’ deviations.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the various Level 1 reportings (by process, by activity, by subsidiary, etc.) for the different stakeholders in Ayvens (both central and local) & in Société Générale Group.
  • Interact with different stakeholders (on Central, Regional and Local levels): LOD1 Functional Owners, LOD1 Internal Control Coordinators, L2C teams, LOD3 teams, SG Group supervisors
  • Propose the ways to improve the operational efficiency of the LOD1 Internal Control unit.
  • Contribute to the improvement of the data quality management.

Profile required

  • Study specialisation in Audit / Risk / Internal Control is preferrable
  • Understanding of the main principles of operational risk & permanent control; knowledge of the Leasing business is an advantage
  • Excel: advanced level; PowerBI and Sharepoint: beginner/intermediate level; knowledge of other data analysis tools is an advantage
  • Risk sensitivity, attention to details, responsibility
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize
  • Open-mindedness & pragmatic, solution-oriented approach
  • Good level of English (both oral & written)

Practical information regarding the contract:

  • Contrat d'apprentissage or professionnalisation
  • Start date can be between August and October
  • 12 months contract
