Responsibilities

• Hands on experience in Open Source Software (OSS) strategy, license & security risk management
• Responsible to work with different industry segment customers and Deliver end to end open source digital transformation roadmap & best in class solutions.
• Handled collaborative approach & development of products with different OSS communities/OEM & ODM vendors/third party suppliers.
• Conceptualizing & developing different inner & outer open source strategies
• Drive Inner Sourcing & External Contribution by example in (S)GitHub
• Ability to find opensource opportunities and help build business cases for DSIs
• Build networks and influence DSIs on opensource ambition/roadmap and execute programs independently
• Implementing agile backlog items agreed with stakeholders/team.
• Participating in weekly hurdles with up to date backlog
• Influence developers across the group to adapt best practices mutually
• Building concrete techno functional proposals from abstract concepts
• Strategic products/projects identification and execution
• Lead business programs with clients in collaboration with the development team in order to make a complex requirement in a simplified way by using different OSS packages along with proprietary code which in turn decrease the cost of overall product development

Profile required

· 8-10 years of SDLC experience.

· Strong programming skills in at least one language (C#.NET/Java/Javascript/C++)

· Knowledge of/enthusiasm towards opensource concepts, principles & various technologies

· Experience in techno-functional design & solution building

· Exposure to Cloud technologies & DevOps is a plus

· Networking and influencing skills

· Sense of observation, ability to listen, questioning and ability to challenge

· Learning agility

· Pragmatism
