Operation Support Analyst
Responsibilities
Societe Generale Global Solution Centre (SG GSC) acts as a business solutions center for Société Générale, one of the largest European financial groups. We provide high quality professional services in over 35 countries in various business areas - Finance & Accounting, HR, IT and Corporate Operations. The application is used as a central point in the distribution of issuance and life-cycle events for financial products to a big variety of external providers (WMDaten, DerivateXXL, Clearstream, ...) in a variety of forms (REST, SFTPs, SMTP protocol...)
· We are constantly expanding the scope of products, events & providers to which we are connected thus the application is constantly evolving.
· The application is in full developement ownership in Bucharest and we are in direct contact with the business located in Frankfurt.
· The application is build based on microseservices architecture, containerized with Docker and orchestrated by Kubernetes.
Specifically, you will be required to:
- Involved in level 1/2 production (and non-production) environment monitoring, incident resolution, troubleshooting and requests handling
- Provide thorough and clear analysis to unblock and assist the business on functional topics and technical issues
- Manage requests and incidents coming directly from users or other support teams; escalate the incidents to the appropriate development team when required
- Take in charge all special business requests on applications managed until its resolution
- Contribute to crisis special set up in case of major IT incident
- Liase with relevant IT teams regarding new functional and technical enhancements
- Document incident patterns and solutions/workarounds to solve them
- Participate in all the testing phases to validate the deliveries before production
- Ensure the quality of the deliveries and make sure no regression gets into production
Profile required
· You have an University diploma
· Knowledge/experience in the Finance industry
· Desire to understand & learn more about financial products
· Desire to go deeper on technical subjects (log parsing, database querying, APIs usage, ...)
· Knowledge of SQL or desire to learn
· Reactivity, anticipation of needs and curiosity
· Good communication skills & ability to summarize key messages
· Client-driven approach & service oriented
· Good command of English, both written and spoken with the ability to participate in English-only meetings
