Within the Global Banking Technology & Operations Service Unit - Financing (GBTO/FTB), you will be responsible for the set up and operational management of waivers and amendments on the Financing Operations (Structured Finance Syndicated and Bilateral Loans) initiated by Business Units and will participate in the execution of the transversal tasks of your team. You will have to carry out all its tasks in close coordination and collaboration in dual office with the ATM (Agency & Transactions Management) Paris teams. You will have to perform all its tasks while ensuring compliance with the Group’s rules and procedures, and particularly those relating to the prevention of “Financial crime”/compliance (KYC, AML, sanctions & embargoes, ABC).
Your future scope of responsibility will cover:
- Manage the waivers/amendments of the Structured Financing Operations (syndicated Loans, Bilateral loans, guarantee issuances) and their impacts on the management tools input (Loan IQ, Covtrack, etc.) on the transactions originated by the Front Office (like actors coordination, legal documentation analysis, collection and check of approvals, input and validation in the systems);
- Manage and monitor Post-closing tasks like Data quality and accuracy maintenance;
- Process and update management indicators on a daily basis (OPAL, SOA, DQ, Mapping Tool, etc.);
- Report incidents/complaints to your manager and in the dedicated tools according to the deadlines and best practices defined;
- Participate actively in the management of transversal tasks for the service;
- Participate in the continuous improvement of processes/procedures relating to all the tasks performed by the team and participate in the training of new joiners to develop and maintain expertise;
- Answer questions from internal/inspection and external auditors (ECB, ACPR, IGAD, CTL, etc.) in a timely manner;
- Monitor and supervise recommendations (NFAs) and associated action plans within the given timeframe;
- Perform operational and managerial supervision controls allocated in dedicated tools;
- Participate in internal training (e-learning or presential training) within the deadlines set to keep your knowledge up-to-date, particularly on compliance and regulatory aspects.
Profile required
You will be best suited for this role if:
- You have higher education Master level in finance/banking;
- You have ideally acquired a first experience in Structured Finance within a specific support function dedicated to this type of operation;
- You are comfortable with reading legal documentation;
- You have excellent English and French (as a strong asset) language skills (both written and spoken);
- You have excellent communication, analytical and synthesis, skills;
- You are able to understand complex communication.
