Responsibilities

As an Operational Risk Specialist within our Global Banking Technologies and Operations (GBTO) department, you will play an important role in safeguarding our banking processess. You will be responsible for ensuring that risk assesments are accurate, controls are robust, and that our risk mitigation framework aligns with the Group’s evolving menthodologies.

Your future scope of responsibility will cover:

  • Analyzing and monitoring compliance regarding the codification of banking processes, ensuring the accuracy of risk assignments and periodic controls

  • Developing and codifying controls related to risks arising from operational systems and processes, aligned with Group methodology and the evolving control plan

  • Administering operational risk tools

  • Monitoring KPIs and KRIs to identify and mitigate operational risks

  • Serving as a Risk Expert for GBTO offshoring and outsourcing agreements

  • Coordinating risk assessments for new products and significant process changes within GBTO

  • Participating actively in control missions conducted by the Second and Third Lines of Defense

  • Managing data quality and reporting, ensuring the completeness of data used for performance tasks and preparing comprehensive analyses for GBTO management

Profile required

  • You hold a university degree in Economics or a related field

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in operational risk, internal audit, or a department focused on controlling operational processes

  • Industry Knowledge: You are familiar with risk solutions within the banking sector and understand relevant supervisory regulations

  • You are proficient in English; knowledge of French is considered a strong advantage

  • You are highly proficient in MS Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint); experience with PowerBI is a plus

  • You possess high analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills

  • You are well-organized, proactive, and driven to improve effectiveness while minimizing risk

  • You can work effectively both independently and as part of a team, even under time pressure
