GTPS AMER Activity Overview
The GTPS division in the Americas offers a comprehensive suite of transaction banking products and services, including cash clearing, cash management, trade finance, and working capital services. These services cater to corporations such as GLBA/US clients, US multinational corporations, and Société Générale affiliates. The division is managed by the Head of GTPS AMER and comprises four Business Line front offices (BAN, PCM, TRA, WCS), a Front Office Product Manager for Payments and Cash Management, Sales Supports, Implementation, Onboarding, Client Services Teams, and COO and Project Teams.
Payments and Cash Management (PCM) Sales Director - Main Responsibilities
The PCM Sales Director is expected to have extensive experience in payment of products and services.
Key responsibilities :
Develops the Account Bank role and sales pipelines with Coverage Bankers (COV) across various sectors as part of the Deposit Collection Initiative of GTPS Americas.
Originates domestic payments and cash management and deposit solutions, particularly with Financial Sponsor Groups.
Work in close cooperation with GTPS Liquidity Advisor to collect operating deposits from the targeted client segment.
Support GTPS Americas Management in the NBFI Client Segment growth.
Participates in the workshops related to 2026-2030 Strategic Plans.
Work with key stakeholders to bring efficiency to the client onboarding and payment platform account opening to accelerate client acquisition.
Actively collaborate with internal teams, such as Implementation, Sales Support and Client Services, to streamline documentation processes and reduce turnaround times.
Ensures a seamless client onboarding experience that minimizes delays and enhances client satisfaction.
Meet the targeted KPIs for client onboarding and deposit collection objectives.
Identifies opportunities to modify service agreements in coordination with legal departments and market standards
Promotes electronic payments solution to reduce manual payment volumes.
Maintains and pursues client relationships to promote PCM offerings.
Track and follow up through PCM contracts for new accounts or services.
Participates to the RFPs involving PCM services domestically or internationally.
Builds and updates deal pipelines in global tools
Coordinates with clients and Société Générale partners on account opening requirements and pricing adherence.
Willingness to travel up to 30% for client meetings with PCM Sales and Corporate Coverage Bankers

Profile required
Necessary Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess:
Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills; proficiency in other languages is advantageous.
A strong desire to develop sales capabilities, including deal hunting and maintenance.
Good understanding of US and international cash management products and services.
Proactive team player attitude.
Skills in designing and mapping comprehensive business requirements.
Confidence and creativity in thinking outside the box.
Ability to prioritize customers in decision-making.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in the payments business

COMPENSATION:
Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and includes a competitive benefits package including 401(k) plan with company match, medical/dental/vision, and other benefits for fertility, wellness, student loans and commuters.
