Responsibilities

Join our Team as a Power BI Intern, where you will play a crucial role in configuring and optimizing Power BI settings to track and analyze Key Performance indicators (KPI’s) for our Romanian Teams who work in Payment Processing department.

The Flows management department or Payment Processing represents a major transverse activity for the Group.

GFL teams manage the financial flows of the Societe Generale group's (internal clients) and the customers of the Group (external clients), that is to say about 100 different entities in the world. Debits, transfers, titles, bills of exchange, promissory notes, interbank titles of payment, check deposits, withdrawals, credit card payments... All these financial transactions, in emission or in receipt, transit by GFL who makes sure of their good transfer.

Specifically, you will be required to:

·         Collaborate with the Teams to set up an configure Power BI settings tailored to the specific KPIs and reporting needs of our Romanian Teams.

·         Optimize dashboards and visualizations to ensure a user-friendly and efficient reporting experience.

·         Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and validate the accuracy of the information presented in Power BI reports.

·         Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, opportunities for improvement in key metrics.

·         Document Power BI configurations and settings to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the setup for future reference.

·         Assist in training team members on Power BI functionalities and best practices for effective utilization.

·         Proactively identify areas of improvement in reporting processes and suggest enhancements to maximize the value derived from Power BI.

·         Stay updated on Power BI features and updated, incorporating new functionalities to enhance reporting capabilities.

Profile required

  • Good to excellent level of Power BI

  • English at an intermediate/advanced level ; French would be a plus

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills;

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask activities based on daily actions in queue.
