Responsibilities

The Process Capabilities Lead is responsible for managing a team of process experts in back office/compliance area, in accordance with the direction and strategic processes of KYU. The process expertise team is responsible for stabilizing the expertise level within processes in different maturity stages (process in transition and mature processes). The team is part of a support functions structure with high interaction with Quality Assurance and Operations Management teams.

Specifically, you will be required to:

  • Contribute, together with the Know Your Customer management team, to the definition of the department's strategy regarding the maintenance or improvement of the quality of the delivered services;

  • Lead definition and implementation of knowledge transfer strategy for processes in transition. Provide client support with associated expertise within knowledge management area;

  • Coordinate knowledge level regular assessments for stable processes and processes with performance issues and create/customize a relevant action plan, in collaboration with operational team managers;

  • Support for the management team in client conversations related to learning methodologies, knowledge gaps assessment and action plans definitions as per identified issues;

  • Continuously look for optimization opportunities of the learning curve for processes with high resources fluctuations (frequent transition of new activities, attrition, etc.);

  • Act as compliance senior expert while supporting team members identify and implement best practices within compliance knowledge management area;

  • Perform people management related activities (recruitment, performance management, workload balancing, expertise sharing, etc.);

  • Ensure the quality of service and the achievement of objectives;

  • Facilitate and support the efficient collaboration between the team and the operational, Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement teams in order to identify opportunities for process optimization (standardization, optimization, productivity increase, quality improvement, cycle-time shortening, etc.);

  • Ensure an efficient communication between operational teams and client representatives related to process expertise topics.

Profile required

  • Previous experience and knowledge in Banking/Compliance;

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in team management (preferably SME seniority level);

  • Good command of French (min. C1 level) and English (min B2 level);

  • Previous experience in knowledge management and/or process management;

  • Previous experience in query management;

  • Knowledge/experience in training framework creation/implementation;

  • Spirit of initiative and self-motivation, ability to work autonomously;

  • Dynamism and maturity;

  • Effective interpersonal skills in an multicultural environment;

  • Excellent negotiation skills.
