- Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development.
- Solid understanding over operating systems (OS) Vulnerabilities and Patch management.
- Experience in managing large server infrastructure (e.g. Familiar with Windows and Linux operating systems).
- Excel in a fast-paced, agile environment supporting multiple projects using a wide variety of technologies, e.g. PI /Scrum and Retrospective planning.
- Solid experience in Development Life Cycle, CI/CD processes and DevOps toolsets.
- Proven experience in managing product transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of Virtualization & scaling container-based applications using microservices.
- Experience building high performant and high throughput applications.
- Automating the installation and upkeep of build tools and dependencies.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (including listening, speaking, and writing) and ability to work well in a diverse, team-focused environment with other SREs, developers, Product Managers, etc.
- Coordinate release activities with Release Management, Project Management, QA, and Development teams to ensure a smooth and trouble-free roll out of releases
Bachelors / Masters in Computer Science from a reputed institute with 10 + years of experience as Product Owner or Manager with DevOps /Scrum /Agile Master expertise.
Passion for the “fail fast and fix fast” methodologies DevOps encompasses.
CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) Certification will be an added advantag
Responsibilities:
• Own the evolution of the OS patching product in terms of features.
• Manage the governance of OS patching and its improvement, coordinate with other IT teams to ensure Product reliability & availability as per defined KPI’s.
• Responsible for planning, creating, and maintaining product Catalog to enable rapid development and deployment.
• Collaborate with key partners such as : Development, Product / Program management, and senior technical / business executives to drive the desired strategy.
• Take a consultative approach to develop, present and explain and evangelize the value and vision of proposed product strategy and solutions to a wide audience.
• Work with engineering teams to provide continuous design mentorship / leadership and be a source of support that ensures successful product delivery and operational excellence in production.
• Lead and support a team to design, build, and operate a culture of innovation, in an environment that requires high levels of scalability, security and reliability
• Resolve approaches for new areas by quickly investigating the state of the art and available technologies.
• Improve and innovate with our existing CI/CD tools, or integrate new tools into the pipeline.
• Work closely with development and IT operations to enable us all to work smarter and faster.
• Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates with leading and directing in Scrum meetings and product sprints
