Product Owner
Responsibilities

Specifically, you will be required to:
· Understand and practice agility and facilitate/support Agile ceremonies as requested or needed.
· Coach and support the team in self-organization and cross-functionality.
· Manage the stakeholders’ expectations and ensure the maximum added value for your deliveries.
· Synchronize with the client and/or other Product Owners from the same Value Chain to identify and help resolve dependencies with other requests / projects.
· Identify, analyze, challenge and translate user needs for changes and new regulatory requirements of the international and national banks and other authorities together with the Project Manager. Contribute on the different project phases (opportunity study, framing, analysis and design, functional validation, change management).
· Use appropriate techniques for effective Product Backlog management (clarify objectives, requirements, priorities, target timelines and dependencies, create detailed and easy to understand user stories, refine epics/features).
· Contribute to the project plan, risks estimation, drive issue resolution, remove impediments to the team’s progress.
· Perform risk management on applications under its own perimeter, including but not limited to vulnerabilities, release management, IGAD and other audit recommendations.
· Contribute to the decrease in Technical Debt together with the team.
· Participate in relevant practice communities (guilds, leagues etc.).
· Facilitate and support the design of the functional content of the IT solution on behalf of the business (Finance function).
· Coordinate and contribute to FAT, non-regression tests and banking homologation.
· Anticipate and follow-up changes.
· Contribute to the change management associated with the assigned project.
· Manage complex tool issues, identify possible improvements in the tools, processes or procedures and participate in their implementation, working with different teams from various departments (HR, IT & REF).
· Research, analyze and evaluate requirements for enhancing the existing or for developing new IT applications and operating systems.
Profile required
· Senior experience: over 7/10 years of experience in a similar position.
· You have a very good level of English. French would be a plus.
· You have experience with Agile practices.
· Functional and business knowledge related to accounting/banking and regulatory reporting: FINREP or other regulatory reports (COREP, LIQUIDITY).
· Technical knowledge, Information system and associated computer tools (Excel, SQL, XBRL).
· Technical knowledge, Information system and associated computer tools, affinity for IT:
o Very good skills on Excel
o SQL knowledge (senior level)
o Knowledge of relational databases and data warehouses
o Knowledge of tracking tools
o Knowledge of technologies such as XML or XBRL
o Ability to understand a logical algorithm
· Soft skills: business understanding, analytical skills, service oriented, communication skills, coaching, organization, planning, prioritizing, solution driven
