Regional Sourcing Specialist
Responsibilities
Serve as member and supporting the regional GBTO/COO/RSG/ACH team in managing the Sourcing activities, Third Party Risk Management from sourcing perspective, sourcing category management and supplier relationship management as well as transversal project management. Support on sourcing governance, controls, and communication
Main Responsibilities:
Regional Sourcing Specialist:
- Lead the standard end-to-end Sourcing process on the assigned categories: from market research, understanding of the internal client’s and the business requirements, followed by RFP process and contract implementation.
- Partner with key internal functions including IT, Legal, Compliance, Finance etc. across Asia locations and also with Group Sourcing team based in Paris.
- Achieve category cost improvement targets through price negotiations. This would require analysis of complex supplier proposals and use decision-making tools and models, including financial and non-financial criteria, to facilitate award recommendations.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers and ensure compliance to Group requirements.
- Collaborate with internal clients ensuring their satisfaction, whilst securing the sourcing processes.
Risk Management:
- Support to define, enhance, document, and implement Strategic Third-Party Risk Management standards in terms of policies, processes, SLAs, interface to other processes, key procedures, data and systems used to support the process.
- Establish process and controls to reduce operational, supplier and legal risks and enhance efficiency.
Category Management and Supplier Relationship Management:
- Leading in-depth spend analysis and data mining in order to deliver strategic and comprehensive category management plan.
- Identification of the key supplier and maintain effective governance and communication with the senior management of SG and the vendors.
Governance:
- Ensure Sourcing process compliance with Group standards and maintain a culture and practice of highest ethical standards and behavior.
- Managing the management reporting to provide visibility to management on Sourcing topics
- Drive standardized procurement and third-party risk governance processes to support Third Party Management & Sourcing objectives and strategies.
- Monitor the sourcing performance and to follow-up the project pipeline.
Project Management:
- Leading or assisting to various transformation projects to improve the Sourcing process.
- Support the development of tools to perform third party risk and control analyze the efficiency of the controls
Profile required
Academic Background and Certifications, Experience:
- Strong experience in Sourcing / Vendor Management and ideally from Banking industry
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, energetic, proactive and positive can-do attitude
- Strong knowledge in Asia market benchmark and local regulatory requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of contracts and legal clauses
- Knowledge of PowerBI and system development workflow is a plus
- Solid presentation and communications in English both verbal and written
- Solid analytical skills, number person with high quality deliverable
- Take leadership role, strong sense of accountability and ownership
- Willing to lean and develop skill

- Ability to work in a challenging environment and speedy in response and efficient
- Attention to details.
- High standards of ethics and team spirit
- Occasional travel may be required and other duties outside of the above may be requested on an ad-hoc basis
