As a Regulatory Project Manager, you will lead improvement and transformation projects within the global scope of SG Corporate & Investment Banking by providing all sponsors with the services required to successfully carry out projects and by identifying and managing improvements to processes and tools.

Join our regulatory project department which is responsible for:

  • Managing the regulatory project portfolio
  • Delivering to all sponsors the expected elements necessary for the proper execution of the projects (framing of missions, monitoring and implementation of solutions, management of the relationship with IT, etc.)
  • Handling of regulatory issues with operational impact and providing regulatory expertise service
  • Taking charge of tax-related projects for the global market activities of SGCIB (HIRE Act 871m, FTT, FATCA, CRS, CARF, 1446f, etc.)

Your future scope of responsibility will cover:

  • Contributing to project scoping by analyzing existing processes and participating in the definition of project governance
  • Proposing organizational solutions, working with the IT teams to obtain IT solutions
  • Participating in projects’ implementation by drafting Business Requirements, framing, and executing test plans, and coordinating Corporate & Investment Banking actors
  • Participating in change management (preparation, implementation, training, support, and functional assistance to users)
  • Organizing and leading project committees, managing the timeline, and anticipating risks
  • Ensuring the quality of deliverables (content, formalization, clarity, readability, etc.)
  • Establishing and maintaining good relationships with our partners, responding to their queries with reactivity
  • Securing market activities to US tax obligations
  • Implementing solutions to ensure compliance of market activities with Financial Transaction Taxes
  • Preparing future 871m regulations on non-delta One products

Profile required

You will be best suited for this role if:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent, preferably financial, or economic
  • At least 5 years professional experience as a project manager in banking industry or financial services sector
  • Knowledge of financial products and their front-to-back lifecycle
  • Ability to lead project committees and coordinate with senior management
  • Fluent command of English
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail with a methodical approach
  • A rolled-up sleeve positive and delivery focused approach, capable to combine Business analyst and Project management tasks
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a varied, fast-paced environment
  • Expertise in tax regulations and financial industry standards is a plus
  • Knowledge of French is a bonus
